Quantity Survey and Cost Control Lead/Manager (Construction) (1 Position)

Job Description :

Quantity Survey and Cost Control Manager is responsible for providing quantity surveying and commercial support on the company business in order to ensure compliance with the target requirements, codes, standards, and regulation in which the company business can run smoothly in efficient time, cost, and quality.

Job Responsibilities:
• Reporting to Senior Manager - Contract.
• Coordinating and Working close with project management team for providing the services of quantity surveying, cost forecasting and estimates, price proposal reviews, and cost control,
• Analyzing and monitoring subcontractor performance; evaluate service/product offerings and specifications,
• Providing support to resolve contractual matters,
• Supporting project management team with contract budgeting,
• Ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible in company repository. This includes all pertinent sign off documentation and work papers,
• Monitoring scope creep and scope changes,
• Preparing and issuing periodic cost reports, cash flow, and earned value analysis to senior management level.
• Reviewing all invoices for the project and codes the invoices where applicable and forwards them to the accounts payable department.
• Attending cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the project management team.
• Providing cost information on value engineering analysis.
• Tracking and analyzing the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Analysis shall include forecast to budget and estimate, forecast to actuals, and contingency analysis.
• Participating in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Recommends improvements in systems, tools, and methods of project controls and project management.
• Assisting in analysis of project control requirements as part of the bid review process to ensure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders.
• Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or any related fields.
• Minimum 10 years experiences in construction works and have working knowledge of electronic takeoff including CAD or Civil 3D Measure and working knowledge of a commercially available construction cost estimating system
• Strong cost management, scheduling, and project planning and estimating skills.
• Experience in developing budgets, cash flows, and/or schedules for construction project.
• Good supervisory skills and resulted oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Great Systematic and analytical thinking.
• English proficiency.
• Good computer skills - Microsoft office programs.
