In order for Tipco Asphalt Public Company Limited (the “Company”) to assess your job application, please kindly study this Recruitment Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) in detail before providing your personal data to the Company. The Company commits to implement the best information security measure of your personal data in strict compliance with the relevant laws. 

Personal Data being Processed 

During the recruitment process, the Company may collect and receive your personal data (i) directly from you as provided in application form, resume or as given to the Company over the conversation or interview; (ii) indirectly as shared by the recruitment agency or any person that you may give consent to them to disclose your personal data to the Company; and (iii) from any third party that you have indicated as your referee that the Company to contact them for additional information.  

During the application form and the application and recruitment process, the Company may collect the following personal data from you: full name, identification card number, contact information, education background, work experience, interest or skills as well as any other verification documents and in particular the NCB status.  

In addition, for some positions, the Company will additionally need to verify your background by collecting certain sensitive personal data, including without limitation criminal records and health check information (as well as any disability) and the Company will request for the explicit consent from you; provided that the Company would like to inform you that all the sensitive personal data as defined are necessary to the Company to assess your qualification and  suitability and the position for which you apply. 

Objectives of the Personal Data Processing 

The Company would need to collect, compile and process your personal data for the following purposes: (i) to verify your identity and all of the information that you have given to the Company; (ii) to assess whether or not you would be qualified for the position that you are applying for; and (iii) to contact and coordinate with you during the recruitment process. 

Disclosure of the Personal Data  

Generally, the Company will not disclose or share your personal data to anyone, except in the necessary circumstances that the Company would need to disclose and/or transfer your Personal Data to the following persons: (i) to third party service provider providing background check or any service providers being engaged to provider relating services to the Company’s recruitment process; (ii) to the Company’s affiliates that may have the job position that may match with your interest or qualifications; and (3) to any reference contact person that the Company may need to contact with for your reference check. 

Data Retention Period 

Except you have expressed the explicit request to the Company to delete or destroy your personal data and documentation right away, the Company reserve the right to store your personal data for so long as the Company consider necessary for the recruitment purpose.  

Your Rights as a Data Subject  

The Company respects your right as the data subject under the relevant laws and you shall be entitled to contact the company to exercise your statutory rights, including right to withdraw consent; right to access and request for copy of your personal Data; right to revise; right to data portability; right to object to the personal data process; right to request for deletion or de-identification of your personal data when there is no necessity to process; right to request to suspend the use of Personal Data; or right to file a complaint in the event of violation of your personal data processing.
