Tipco Asphalt Shares Technical Expertise on Climate-Resilient Highway Design
On September 19, 2026, Khun Sompun Leelapunyaporn, Senior Manager – Technical Intelligence, Tipco Asphalt Public Company Limited, was invited as a guest speaker for the academic seminar for the 21st Master of Engineering Program in Infrastructure Engineering and Management, on the subject of “Climate Resilient Highway Design”. The seminar was held at Boonsom Suwachirat Building, Faculty of Engineering and was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanisa Rungjang, the course instructor.
The lecture focused on highway design approaches that can address the impacts of climate change, along with the use of environmentally friendly materials and technologies to improve the efficiency and durability of transportation infrastructure. The session attracted more than 90 participants, including students and professionals from relevant organizations. The event also provided an opportunity to share knowledge and experience among the academic institutions, private sector, and government agencies, reflecting Tipco Asphalt’s role in supporting knowledge sharing and the sustainable development of transportation infrastructure.
