Suratthani Plant Rak Tha Thong Canal Project
17 May 2023 | Employees of Suratthani plant and Srithammasit Company Limited collaborated to gather floating garbage in Tha Thong Canal, situated in front of Suratthani Plant Pier. Their aim was to maintain the cleanliness of the canal, raise environmental awareness among employees, and subsequently, they transported the collected garbage to the Waste Bank at Wat Tha Thong School. Here, the waste was carefully sorted and separated to extract recyclable materials, adding value to them before sale. The proceeds generated from this initiative were dedicated to funding school lunches for students at Wat Tha Thong School. Notably, the total amount of plastic waste collected during this effort amounted to 13 kilograms.
