slurry seal project in Laos

slurry seal project in Laos

Tipco Asphalt Lao Co. Ltd, in partnership with Seneoudom Co. Ltd and with technical support from Thanomwongse Service Co. Ltd, is proud to announce the latest slurry seal project in Laos, applied in Vientiane Capital. This project, building on Thanomwongse Service’s pioneering introduction of the slurry seal technique to Laos more than 20 years ago around Patuxay (Victory Monument), represents a major step towards establishing this proven method as a sustainable option for road maintenance nationwide. The project began on February 12, 2025, and is scheduled for completion by the end of February 2025. This cost-effective technique provides a solution for road surface treatment, extending road’s service life at a significantly lower cost than traditional methods like HMA overlays. This makes it ideal for Laos’ infrastructure development needs. On February 14, 2025, the project received positive feedback from representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (PWT) following their observation. We are delighted to further introduce this surface treatment to Laos and look forward to seeing its wider acceptance across the country.

  • Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy (Energy Indirect Emissions), including electricity, heat, cooling, steam, and compressed air used within the organization.
  • Scope 3: Other indirect emissions beyond Scope 1 and 2, such as transportation of raw materials by suppliers, employee commuting using non-company-owned vehicles, business travel involving outsourced services, use of materials and equipment, product usage, product disposal, waste volume, and waste transportation
